When you buy a Showhomes franchise, you are purchasing the exclusive rights to provide our unique version of home staging in all homes within your specified geographic area. According to the National Association of Realtors, the average home in the U.S. changes ownership every 7 years and the numbers of vacant homes is at an all time high. Anytime one of the homes in your area comes on the market and the owners move out, it becomes potential revenue for you.

We pay close attention to how we define our exclusive, protected territories:

A territory must have enough homes to support a successful franchise. Typically each territory will have approximately 10,000 homes generally valued at $400,000 or higher, determined by US Census data.  We also look at income levels to make sure that there is a sufficient number of home owners who might be candidates for our services.  We look at homes for sale by zip code to give us a cross reference to the market potential both short term and long term.  We may look at the number of new construction homes and other data specific to your area.

In most cases, we work hand in hand with you to define your territory. Start thinking about your market and look up zip codes for the area you are interested in using www.realtor.com. You can search by zip code using the ‘more options’ selection. Look at the number of homes for sale in each zip code and look at the photos – you will easily see some of the vacant homes in your area.
